The game takes place after the Kyôto saga. There are two characters available, Hijiri e Hikaru, that must remember their own past. The story with the tweo characters is preatty much the same. But if you choose Hajiri you meet Saito Hajime, while Hikaru meets Aoshi Shinomori. The game is very simple and contians many little games and secondary stories and enough apparences of special characters from the anime.

It's a fighting with matches (one VS one, both humans or human Vs. Pc) in the Japan of 1878, and tells the encounter between Kenshin and the Oniwabashu of Shinomori Aoshi.
It's possible to choose the character and in the Aoshi's team and in Kenshin's team.
The game mode are, besides the direct challenge between two players, are two: tournament or story.

After the turmoil of the Bakumatsu Period, Japan stepped into the Meiji Era.
In a certain sword dojo in Tokyo, a travelling swordsman appeared, and the story thus began.
The evil devil-of-a-man Shishio Makoto and his subordinates attempted to overthrow the Meiji government. In order to stop their ambition, Himura Kenshin, Saito Hajime and Sagara Sanosuke ventured to Kyoto, each with his individual feelings.
This production is based on the Kyoto arc, separated into 'Kenshin Story', 'Saito Story' and 'Sanosuke Story', with the player controlling the respective main character in each story to play a sword clashing action game. The hatred, gratitude, love of Japan's Bakumatsu Period reignite into flames from ashes here!
