Volume 1

Aya Mikage was born in a family which members have nymphs’ blood in their veins. Her twin brother, Aki, and herself don’t know it yet, but the day of their 16th birthday is going to seal their destiny. Aki will become the savior of the family and Aya will have to be killed… But she will receive an unexpected help: Suzumi is a young woman who also possesses some powers and her brother-in-law, Yuhi, helps her with his strength and courage. They take Aya under their protection but it is not easy to protect a young determined girl, who does not realize yet the situation she is in and who tries to find her brother and her parents despite the danger. A danger that could be called Toya, the sweet savior of one day, who is in fact employed by the Mikage family and charged to kill Aya.

Volume 2

Aya is going to transform into Ceres, the celestial nymph, while trying to escape from her enraged mother. Ceres tries to kill Toya because he serves the Mikage who want to kill her. Thanks to Yuhi, Aya manages to come. Later on, she will try to limit Ceres’ appearance because she knows that the nymph wants to kill Toya whereas Aya is in love with him. Aya is very depressed. Not even Aki’s efforts or Toya’s affection can help. But Yuhi may have a solution…

Volume 3

Events are rushing. The C project, created by Mikage, follows its course. Urakawa, a young girl who secretely shares a romance with her teacher is going to have to face the consequences of this romance. In fact the teacher is just using her because she has blood from a nymph in her veins, thus she has powers (pyrokinesis). Protected by Toya and Yuhi, ready to risk their life for her, Aya will try to intervene. But everything is against her, even her fellow students. Ceres will have to make her appearance again which forces Aki to stay away from her sister forever and Toya to try to forget about his feelings for Aya…
Tranquillity has come back, but not for long. A storm is rushing. A storm in Yuhi’s heart who opens himself a little bit too much, a storm for Suzumi who might become Mikage’s next prey because of her celestial ascendance, and a storm in Aya’s heart for Toya…

Volume 4

After an attack, Suzumi has become cataleptic. Her mind is with the ones of her dead husband and dead child. Is there anything on this Earth that could make her come back?
Ceres is troubled about men: aren’t all men monsters? She asks for Yuhi’s help. An encounter with Toya will lead Ceres to continue in the path of moderation and begin to think that not all men are monsters…

Volume 5

At the Mikage’s Toya refuses to cooperate and Aki is beginning to have changes in his personality. Toya tries to take Aki with him, back to Aya but he is stopped by Aki’s new bodyguard, Wei. After a fight, Toya manages to escape with Aki. Half-way out of the house, Aki decides not to go with Toya. Badly wounded, Toya manages to reach Aya on their rendez-vous point. But he wants to get Aki back. Aya wants him to rest and heal and not go back to the Mikage’s, it’s too dangerous. Toya decides to go anyway.

Volume 6

A hagoromo has been found in Okinawa. The group decides to go there to investigate and they meet the famous rock group GeSANG, led by Shuro and Kei. We learn that Shuro is in fact a girl who is in love with Kei and she also has nymph blood in her veins… Toya appears once again to save Aya…

Volume 7

Wei is dying to kill Toya. Toya is hiding in a hotel with Aya. While Aya escapes with Chidori and Yuhi, Toya is fighting against Wei who was waiting for them in the corridor. Aya and her friends continue their quest for the hagoromo and end up in a girl’s school where Yuhi has to disguise himself in a girl in order to protect Aya. Toya begins to remember things about his past, he believes: he has visions… Aya also meets with a nymph’s white dog who is bloodthirsty…

Volume 8

The group gets to Shizukoa. Yuhi sees Aya going, dressed, into the sea and saves her. In fact it was not Aya. The girl is Miori Sahara, a student that look almost exactly like Aya, except for the colour of her hair. Toya reappears again. He and Aya decide to go to Miho, where the nymph is supposed to have appeared. There, they see Miori and Toya is troubled. Crossing the street, he is hit by a car and when Aya gets to him he has forgotten all about her and remembers everything about Miori. He was her boyfriend before going to Tokyo. Aya is devastated. Toya decides to go back to the Mikage’s with Miori…

Volume 9

Toya is beginning to believe that there is something strong between Aya and him. Aki, who has become the Progenitor, the original husband of Ceres, does not like it and wants to kill Toya. Miori does not like it either and wants to kill Aya. It appears that Miori was in fact a Genome C. After a fight with Miori, Aya/Ceres manages to survive while Miori is dead. Meanwhile, Toya fights against the Progenitor.
Later on, Toya understands that his memories were fake ones and decides to seek for his past, leaving his dagger to Aya. Aya is depressed but manages to continue on her quest for the hagoromo. Back to Shizukoa, Aya discovers that Aki follows classes in the same school. He wants Ceres back to him at any cost and decides to leave her no choice…

Volume 10

After Aki’s threats, Aya has no choice but to break her relationship with Yuhi. She learns that strange things happen in the basement of the school and decides to investigate. She falls into a trap but miraculously escapes from the boys who set this trap. She goes back later on with the Progenitor to discover the secret hidden there. Yuhi, who followed them, cannot prevent the Progenitor to kidnap Aya. The Progenitor decides to alter Aya’s memories to definitely make her forget about Toya. Meanwhile, Toya is found unconscious on a beach. He is taken care of by a doctor. Now aware of his feelings for Aya, Toya decides to go fetch Aya at the Mikage’s

Volume 11

Toya manages to take Aya out of Mikage’s hands thanks to Alex’s help. But Aya is in a coma and does not seem to want to come out of it. Toya is finally able to bring her back. She then decides to live with Toya and leave the Aogiri’s. They both find a plce to live at the doctor’s place and then begins a period of tranquillity and happiness for the two of them. Till the day they go with the doctor on raging sea in order to heal a patient. Aya falls into the sea. She wakes up later on a beach, in Toya’s arms who seems to be transforming himself. Later on, Aya and Toya remember that they have already met, long before that, a few years ago…

Volume 12

Toya and Aya have gone back and Chidori has been kidnapped by the Mikage’s. Toya and Yuhi decide to go rescue her but they have no idea what they are facing. Meanwhile, Ceres is out of patience and Aya decides to take things into her own hands…

Volume 13

Captive of Kagami, Aya now lives with the girls who have the Genome C in them. Meanwhile, Alex tries to bring back Aki, who is internally fighting against the Progenitor. Tricking Alex, the Progenitor manages to get free and find Ceres. This is when he reveals his story and intentions to Aya. Meanwhile, Kagami learns that people who finance the C project want to take him of this project. He will be able to keep it only thanks to Shuro’s sacrifice who also manages to get Ceres out of Mikage’s hands…

Volume 14

After numerous sacrifices from her friends, Ceres finally manages to find her hagoromo. But Mikage is here to get his wife back. Ceres and him finally manage to understand each other and decide to leave their lives to the living…
