Adam Kadamon~
Seraphita/Time Magic
He is the first being created by God and has an androgynous appearance. He possesses the primitive magic and can master time. He has 6 pairs of wings and is believed to have given 3 pairs to Alexiel and 3 pairs to Rosiel by "giving birth" to them (well, in a sense!). He is also called "White Lighter" or "Sacred Hermit".
He appears before Setsuna for the first time in order to save the young man from Rosiel. Then he appears again for Alexiel's awakening in order to reveers Tokyo's destruction. He tells Setsuna that his magic is only temporary because he is emprisoned into the Etemenanki Tower, therefore his powers are not as strong as they would normally be. He asks Setsuna to complete his mission before God notices his treason. When Setsuna comes back from Hades, Adam Kadamon guides him and explains him how the world is made. He is the cause of Zahikel's irreversible blindness.
Lucifel~
Seraph/Seraph's Master

Alexiel~
Organic Angel
Alexiel is the Organic angel, elder and twin sister of Rosiel. She possesses Three pairs of wings and has an extraordinary beauty. She is a talented warrior who has faught alongside the demons with the help of the Seven-Blades sword. She suffers a lot from not being God's favorite, the one she loves and who mustn't be loved. She represents the positive side of things.
Since the war of Angels, Alexiel's body and soul were separated and she is condemned to suffer reincarnations ending in vilent death on Earth for eternity. The cycle of her reincarnations, however, was modified because she asked Kira to kill her last reincarnation with the Seven-Blades sword.
A long time ago, she made a promise to Kurai: she promised to kill Rosiel is he became a "monster" of heart and body. She confesses later to the young demon her mistake, in a moment when Alexiel's soul dominates Setsuna's body. She deeply regrets not keeping her promise.
Kurai steals the crystal in which Alexiel's body is emprisoned and seeks to reunite her body and soul, while everyone else is seeking to possess Alexiel's soul for her extraordinary powers and they await the moment when it will be awakened at last. Her soul, in Setsuna's body, awakens a few times only, but not completely, when the boy is angry or almost dead. When Sara dies, Alexiel begins to awaken, threatening to destroy tokyo at the same time as both events, the awakening and the destruction of the city, are linked. But the awakening is stopped by Adam Kadamon to avoid such fate for the Earth.
Later on, Alexiel's body awakens with Setsuna's soul inside of it as the boy comes back from Hades and is body is killed. Even though Alexiel's soul stays behind and leaves control to Setsuna, the boy's mind retrieves memories and knowledge from her soul.
Rosiel~
Inorganic Angel
In opposition to his sister, Rosiel is the Inorganic Angel. He is very powerful and also possesses three pairs of wings. He can modify his appearance. Therefore he uses this power to appear as a beautiful angel and deeply fears ugliness. In fact he is made of rubbish and hides it under an incredible beauty. He needs reassurement all the time concerning his appearance. Rosiel represents the negative part of things.
In the past, Alexiel was imprisoned into the Etemenanki tower on God's order and it was forbidden for the two angels to be together in the same place. Alexiel despised Rosiel because God favored him.
After the end of the war of Angels, Rosiel, who had been imprisoned in the center of the Earth by Alexiel, is freed by Katan, his most loyal servant. Once free, he intents to awaken his sister and finally succeeds with the indirect intervention of Kirieh. afterwards, he goes back to the Heavens in order to retrieve his position as the Master of Seraphs (Master of all Angel, directly below God and Metatron).
Metatron~
Seraph/Master
Metatron is the Master of Seraphs and is proud of it. As he is only a little kid, his tutor, Sevoth-Tart, reigns in his place. Metatron possesses the power to feel things and has visions in his dreams. He is first to foresee that Rosiel has been freed. He also knew when Sara died and predicted the end of the Earth.
He is terribly afraid of Rosiel and feels his coming. Metatron never leaves his favorite stuffed-toy, which his calls "Mister Lapinou" (french translation, not sure about the English name!) Sevoth-Tart gives him medicine "for his own good"... Metatron is a pure and innocent Angel. He likes the Angel Gabriel a lot and frees him by taking off the needle from his neck.
Sandalphon~
Seraph
He is the unborn-dead-younger brother of Metatron. Metatron believes he is the cause of his nightmarish visions. Sandalphon's soul is inside of Metatron's toy, waiting fir the right body to unleash his full power. Sandalphon can only exist via Metatron's dreams, from which he can act on the world, but in a limited way.
Therefore, he brings Metatron to free Gabriel. Later, he tries to act in the operation of the elemental angels seeking to ressuscitate Setsuna, but Setsuna's strength prevents Sandalphon from killing. Sandalphon's powers make him very dangerous for the other angels and he is feared...
Sevoth-Tart~
Seraph/President of the High Council
He is a cold angel who took the power when Rosiel was imprisoned. He is Metatron's tutor who is too young to govern yet. He doesn't want anyone to take his position in the hierarchy of angels and he apprehends Rosiel's return, to the point that he'll try to get Rosiel assassinated. But it's going to be a failure and Rosiel comes back to retrieve his position.
In fact, Sevoth-Tart has a dark objective: destroying the human race and creating a new one. He is the cause of Gabriel's coma as he put a needle in her neck in order to neutralise the angel, because she was against his project. He wears a mask in order to hide his appearance.
